The moving industry is expected to be back to work this coming Monday, June 8th, and just in time. Going back to work this week is very important for all moving and storage members.

Our medical quarter requires us to work 300 hours in May, June and July. Going back to work June 8th means members have a very good chance of earning the medical hours necessary to get coverage for October, November December.

If your barn is slow, don’t hesitate to reach out to others. Blast text messages will be going out directing members which companies to call.

Also, companies have committed to providing all employees with masks. If you don’t have a mask, please ask the foreman or dispatcher to provide you with one. If they do not, please reach out to the Union immediately.
