Beginning April 1st Optum Rx will return as our pharmacy benefit manager, replacing AEBRx. You will receive new ID cards and a welcome packet in the mail this month. If you haven’t yet, you’ll also receive a letter in the mail from the Northern New Jersey Teamsters Benefit Program.

We will also be discontinuing Payer Matrix, the speciality drug cost avoidance program on April 1st. If you had prior approval in a manufacturer assistance program, it will remain active until it expires or until such time as you are no longer eligible for benefits.
